The Longbow Crew Trainer (LCT) AH-64D Apache simulator is comprised of a two trailer system, the Device Trailer which houses the Apache simulator and the Service Trailer which supports it.
The Device Trailer is a 53' long air ride double expandable trailer which includes a compete electrical system to the Power Distribution Pedestal (PDP), auxiliary ECU and generator used in transient and storage to keep the simulator in a temperature safe environment.
The Service Trailer is a 53' long air ride flat bed trailer. Mounted on the trailer is a 35' modified ISO container, the primary ECU and the primary generator. The service trailer ISO container includes an auxiliary ECU and generator used in transient and storage to keep the stored materials in a temperature safe environment.
During onsite set-up, flexible air ducting and cam-lok cables are installed for conditioned air and to send power to the Device and Service Trailers. |
